Miss Southern Africa UK 2010 took place last Saturday, in Stratford London.
It was an excellent turnout from the 7 seven countries that were represented in the competition.
The results are in and as follows: Zambia took the crown with Fernanda Kanyendo as Miss Southern Africa UK 2010, Yasmin Elias from Malawi is 1st Princess and Julia Dijeng representing Botswana is 2nd Princess. Dornay Swartz from Namibia took the Miss Personality title.
The presenters, Glorianne Frances & Tuko Guri brought the show to life when they performed the step, and got the crowd to their feet.
The judges were well impressed with the beautiful & intelligent contestants and had a really tough decision to make. They represented a variety of countries as well, and we were honoured to have; Fatna Boutarfas – Miss Morocco; Motayo Balogun – African Spirit International; James Drummer – associated with former Miss World Pageant; Deejay Abass – DJ media & Entertainment; Shola from Magohany models and Mavis Anakwah from Rich Vision.
It is official, not only does Southern Africa have beauties, but we have extraordinary talent too!
The night was filled with fantastic entertainment and we were delighted with sounds & sights to include: Royal Destiny Gospel Group; Royal Elements Dancers; Simon from Namibia; Ziyawa Dance Group; Nonsie Dube Poet; Afro Symphony; Vani - Lion King cast and Jusa.

Its your time to make the most of your crown and represent Miss Southern Africa and our Charity partner Southern Africa Action for Change S.A.A.C. It is up to you to make the crown shine and not the crown to make you shine, Once again congratulations.I would like to thank the people behind the scenes, pulling strings to make things happen, It took a lot of effort and determination from many people to make the show a Success.
